This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs how users may access and use the Sportter platform (“Sportter”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By using Sportter, you agree to comply with this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Purpose of the Platform
Sportter is provided as a management and organizational tool for sports teams, leagues, and community organizations.
You may use Sportter only for lawful, respectful, and legitimate purposes related to sports and community management.
2. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use Sportter to engage in any of the following activities:
2.1 Abuse and Harassment
- Harassing, threatening, intimidating, or abusing other users
- Bullying, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior
- Encouraging violence or harm toward individuals or groups
2.2 Illegal or Harmful Content
- Uploading or sharing illegal, offensive, or harmful content
- Sharing content that violates local, national, or international laws
- Promoting criminal, fraudulent, or deceptive activities
2.3 Impersonation and Misrepresentation
- Impersonating another person, team, organization, or official
- Providing false or misleading information
- Misrepresenting your role, authority, or affiliation
2.4 Unauthorized Access and Security Abuse
- Attempting to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization
- Circumventing security measures or access controls
- Introducing malware, viruses, or harmful code
2.5 Platform Misuse
- Using Sportter for purposes unrelated to sports or community management
- Spamming, advertising, or soliciting without authorization
- Using automated systems to scrape, harvest, or overload the platform
2.6 Content Violations
- Uploading content you do not have the legal right to share
- Violating intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
- Posting misleading, deceptive, or manipulative content
3. User-Generated Content Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for all content they upload, post, or share on Sportter, including messages, posts, images, and documents.
Sportter does not pre-screen or approve user content and is not responsible for user-generated content.
4. Enforcement and Moderation
We reserve the right to:
- Review, remove, or restrict content
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Limit access to features
These actions may be taken with or without notice if we believe this Policy has been violated.

6. No Guarantee of Availability
We do not guarantee that Sportter will be available at all times or that content will be preserved.
We are not responsible for data loss, service interruptions, or removal of content.

Continued use of Sportter after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
8. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
